My Photographs:
-
Camera dealer: Studio City Camera, North Hollywood, CA
-
Cameras and lenses: Olympus OM2 and OM10. Primary candid lens is
Vivitar 70-210mm macro zoom telephoto with Vivitar 2x teleconverter (therefore
140-420mm). I also use the f1.4 50mm, 200mm portrait and 26mm wide-angle
lenses from the Olympus OM series
-
Darkroom supplies: Freestyle
Sales Co., Hollywood, CA
-
Films and processing: Primary emulsion is Kodak Tri-X (ASA400),
usually processed in Diafine developer (two-bath) to ASA1600, once in a
while in D-76 at normal ASA400. Occasionally I will use Agfa APX25 (processed
in D-76); Kodak Double-X fine-grain, (D-76); Kodak Plus-X (D76); Kodak
TMax P3200, push-processed in Diafine or Kodak TMax developer to ASA12,500
(very grainy but fantastic in low-light situations); and whatever
other emulsions and developers tickle my fancy. (If a photo in these pages
was not shot on Tri-X, the emulsion is indicated.) All photographic
chemicals are prepared with distilled/purified water. All films fixed in
Arista fixer and cleared with Kodak hypo clearing agent.
-
Negative holders and binders: Vue-All archival vinyl holders, kept
in Wilson-Jones DublLock D-ring binders; binders supplied by Steve's Office
Supply, Yucca Valley and 29 Palms, CA
